Hey Terrance,

I would have to agree with you. Paying for something you are already getting for free is tough, but if that something has great value and at the same time make you money, I think it would be worth it.
I have paid for hundreds of domain names over the years and will continue to pay for them even though they were free to get some 15 years ago. Plus Twitter helps me market my business in real time and there is nothing else out there that can beat that right now.

I tell ya, it's gonna be a tough sell to get people to pay for something they are already accustomed to getting for free.

Having said that, If I have NO CHOICE, and Twitter is gonna get its money from us eventually, I would rather pay for my 'twitdomain' versus seeing ads all over the twittersphere.

One of my favorites is missing from this list - http://twitter.com/twelpforce This is another Best Buy Twitter account specifically for customer service. But the customers and BB are having conversations on there...which is kinda the point of Twitter and I think some companies miss that.

Interesting list with lots of good information but you missed several Twitter accounts. For example CVS for which you graded an F, has an active Twitter account under the handle @CVS_Extra with almost 5,000 followers and over 700 tweets.
